THE EMPLOYER IS: THE SOFT DRINKS COMPANY We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. The role involves delivering soft drinks to customers in Derry and surrounding areas, ensuring orders are delivered on time and in good condition while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
* Delivering products safely and efficiently to customers.
* Handling of any cash payments that customers may pay on delivery.
* Loading and unloading the delivery vehicle.
* Checking orders before departure and on delivery.
* Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork.
* Providing friendly and professional customer service.
* Ensuring the delivery vehicle is kept clean and in good working order.
* Reporting any vehicle issues or delivery problems promptly.
* Following all road safety and company procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Full valid UK driving licence.
* Good knowledge of local roads in Derry and surrounding areas.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to handle manual lifting.
Desirable Skills
* Previous delivery driving experience.
* Experience in wholesale or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
* Basic paperwork and record-keeping skills.
* Forklift experience (an advantage but not essential).
