Salary: £25,000- £27,000
Looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Showroom & Parts Assistant to join my clients team, reporting directly to the Parts & Showroom Manager.
This role is a mix of retail showroom sales and hands-on parts/goods management. You’ll be working across a wide range of products, including parts, hardware, clothing, and groundcare machinery. A strong focus on customer service is essential, as you'll be supporting customers both in-person and over the phone.
You will also oversee the daily operation of the goods inward area and take charge of parts and showroom-related deliveries, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Support day-to-day retail sales in the showroom
Assist customers with product and service enquiries (in-person and via phone)
Receive and distribute incoming goods and deliveries
Process and unpack incoming stock, supplier parcels, and internal transfers
Manage customer delivery/collection shelves
Keep stock levels accurate through regular checks
Support technicians with parts identification
Maintain showroom displays and manage stock rotation
Load and unload company vehicles as required
Process payments (cash, cheque, and card) accuratelyWhat My Client is Looking For:
Knowledge of agricultural and horticultural machinery/parts (preferred)
Previous retail or showroom experience (desirable)
Excellent communication skills (in-person, phone, email)
Team player with the ability to work independently
Physically fit to manage stock and deliveries
