Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer
Company: Multidisciplinary Consultancy
Location: North Yorkshire
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Type: Full‑time, Permanent (Hybrid – 2 days WFH)
Responsibilities
* Produce structural designs and support from feasibility to construction across a variety of projects and sectors.
* Develop cost‑effective designs that meet client and stakeholder requirements by collaborating within a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Provide construction‑stage support.
* Lead small to medium‑sized projects.
* Write structural condition surveys and reports to tight deadlines.
* Mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
* Civil or Structural Engineering degree (or equivalent).
* Chartered Engineer (or working towards chartership) with an appropriate institution.
* Significant experience in an engineering design consultancy on building structures.
* Proficiency in designing concrete, steel, masonry, and timber using UK Standards and Eurocodes.
* Experience with Tekla Structural Designer (TSD), AutoCAD, Revit, TEDDS, Excel, and NBS specification tools.
* Experience delivering RIBA‑staged projects and writing reports.
* Full UK driving licence.
