It's an exciting time to be part of activpayroll, and in particular within our Marketing and Demand Generation team where we're working at pace and with passion to build a really compelling story for our customers. Great content is at the heart of that project, and we're really excited to be bringing a brand new role of Content Writer into the team to help us craft our narrative and bring our proposition to life in the market.
This is an opportunity for a candidate with a real knack for commercial storytelling to really drive the creation of a wide range of content that bolsters our marketing efforts and drives demand, giving a voice to our business and helping to expand our global presence.
On a typical day, it looks like this...
* Developing and executing content strategies that align with ICP, Brand, Marketing and Sales strategies, including SEO goals to increase organic search visibility and traffic.
* Producing high-quality content that engages our target audiences and drives action
* Developing content that supports marketing and advertising campaigns, enhancing the impact and coherence of our promotional efforts
* Working closely with the SEO team to create content that is optimised for search engines while maintaining engagement and readability
* Creating tailored communications for customer engagement, including newsletters, product updates, awareness and other customer-focused materials
* Collaborate closely with sales and thought leaders to create engaging and high-quality content for their personal social media pages, demonstrating creativity and strategic thinking
* Ensuring consistency of brand voice, style, and quality across all content outputs
* Analysing content performance metrics to continually refine and improve content strategy and execution
* Stay current with industry trends and consumer preferences to ensure content is relevant and impactful
To be truly effective, you’ll be...
* Experienced as a Content Writer or Copywriter, with a particular focus on SEO and sales and marketing content
* Able to show us your great work, with a strong portfolio of written and digital content
* Exceptional at writing, editing, and proofreading with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality output
* Familiar with SEO practices, content categorisation and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement
* Experienced in creating content for various multimedia platforms including videos and podcasts
* Fantastic at organisational and project management, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
* Creative and innovative, able to transform complex information into engaging content
* Ideally qualified in a relevant subject, such as English, Marketing, Journalism or Corporate Communications
