Job Overview
We are looking to recruit an Advanced Cardiac Physiologist within our CRM, Arrhythmia and Interventional Cardiology teams. The role requires holding full BHRS or equivalent accreditation and may be suitable for experienced Specialist Cardiac Physiologists seeking to further develop these skills. Support will be given to achieve accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
* Work independently with high skill and autonomy at an advanced level, performing basic and complex device implants and following up clinics (face‑to‑face and remote).
* Perform a technical role during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including participation in the 24/7 on‑call team.
* Conduct tilt tests and exercise tolerance tests.
* Provide detailed analysis of ambulatory recordings and produce clinical reports of normal and abnormal findings to aid consultant decision‑making.
* Download, analyse and report on all event and loop recorders/monitors available to patients.
* Execute the technical role during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterisation and recognise and interpret electrographic signals and pressure waveforms, advising the operator on optimal catheter sites and intra‑operative complications.
Qualifications & Experience
* Full BHRS or equivalent accreditation (support available to obtain accreditation).
* Experience as a cardiac physiologist with advanced skills in CRM, arrhythmia and interventional cardiology.
* Strong technical competence in device implantation, catheterisation and cardiac diagnostics.
