We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Masonry Support Engineering Team. You will lead structural design, compliance, and coordination of technicians, focusing on masonry support systems like wind posts and brick slip reinforcements. Your role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, driving innovation, and mentoring staff within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and analyse structural designs for masonry support, ensuring compliance with Eurocodes, British Standards, and building regulations.
Use FEA and structural software to optimize designs and approve details.
Lead compliance management and technical leadership within the team.
Coordinate multiple projects and liaise with architects, contractors, and clients.
Mentor technicians and junior engineers; manage workload and knowledge transfer.
Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and specifications using software like AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, TEDDS, and Microsoft 365.
Contribute to process improvements and standardization of engineering workflows.
Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng, MEng, or equivalent).
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it (IStructE, ICE, or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years post-graduate structural engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, and modern construction methods.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Tekla, TEDDS, and structural analysis tools.
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
