Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking labourer to support our fabrication team. The successful candidate will support our welding and fabrication operations by assisting skilled workers, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing various manual tasks. The preparation of parts for painting (shot blasting) will form a significant part of this role.
Monday to Friday, in person, 38.75h/w (6.00am to 2.15pm)
Duties
· Loading/unloading deliveries for Fabrication (forklift/manual)
· Stock maintenance
· Maintaining a safe and clean working environment / housekeeping
· Operation of shot blasting equipment
· Prepare and clean work areas, tools and equipment
· All aspects of preparing units for painting
· Assist with the assembly and disassembly of products.
· Assist all team members with daily tasks, as specified by the Fabrication Manager.
Skills and Experience:
· Competent/certified Forklift truck user, essential criteria
· Previous Shot Blasting experience would be desirable
· Experience of using an overhead Gantry Crane is desirable.
· Highly motivated with good communication skills
· High levels of concentration and attention to detail
· Working well within a team
· Ability to maintain high housekeeping levels
