Job Title: Construction Project Manager Location: Godalming, Surrey (with travel to project sites) Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (depending on experience) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: Our client, a well-established main contractor specialising in refurbishment projects, is seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Project Manager to join their team based in Godalming. This is a key role overseeing refurbishment schemes ranging in value from £250k to £1.5 million, primarily within the healthcare and education sectors. Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple refurbishment projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Coordinate and oversee site activities, working closely with site managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Develop and maintain project programmes, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Liaise with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners to ensure clear communication and client satisfaction. Ensure health and safety compliance across all sites. Prepare and review project documentation including reports, schedules, and budgets. Attend regular site visits and meetings as required. Requirements: Proven experience in project management within the construction sector, ideally refurbishment works. Background in managing commercial projects within healthcare and education environments is highly desirable. Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach to project delivery. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities. Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential due to site travel).
