ur client based in Halifax are recruiting for experienced Bench Hand Joiners to join their existing team. The successful candidate MUST have their own tools.
Shifts & salary:
* Full time role
* 08:00-16:30
* Monday to Friday
* Paying £15.00-£17.00 depending on experience
* Temporary to permanent opportunity
Key responsibilities:
* Manufacture joinery work based on secured work orders.
* Understand production schedules and technical/construction/assembly drawings.
* Knowledge of raw materials, including properties and applications.
* Accurately measure and cut raw materials to minimise wastage.
* Competently use woodworking machinery and hand-held power tools.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and company guidelines.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
* Represent the department effectively and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Undertake additional duties as required by management.
* Produce work that meets company quality standards.
* Receive instructions from Line Manager and Senior Management.
* Be willing to work additional hours as needed to meet work order demands.
Key requirements:
* Must have bench hand joinery experience
* Must have own tools
* Must be able to understand production schedules and technical drawings
* Must be experienced in producing high end products using a variety of wood, experience with metal also preferable
