Job Description
The main purpose of the Event Manager role is to deliver events and activities across Factory International's programmes, including commercial events, brand activations, large-scale concerts, and our wide-ranging public programme. We seek someone who can bring organization and creativity to the development and delivery of events, working with external partners to create memorable projects.
This role is within the Producing and Programme Department, responsible for scheduling, planning, and delivering all organizational activities.
The scope is broad: from managing conferences for major corporate clients to large concerts by international artists; from high-profile product launches in the Warehouse to activation events like skate parks in public spaces. The role involves working across multiple areas of the building to deliver innovative work for our partners and audiences.

Job Requirements
ESSENTIAL
* Experience in event and/or project management, with the ability to manage multiple activities and deliver high-quality events.
* Strong organizational skills to handle a busy workload calmly under pressure.
* Financial literacy, including creating costings, quotes, and managing budgets effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders, including corporate clients, promoters, and brand partners.
* The ability to work independently and lead project teams, assessing situations quickly and finding creative solutions.
* Proficiency with IT systems relevant to the organization.
* A commitment to promoting representation and inclusion at all levels, with experience working with diverse backgrounds.
Job Responsibilities
* Oversee daily planning and on-site delivery of assigned events within the commercial programs at Factory International.
* Maintain professional communication with partners, ensuring excellent customer service, clear briefs, and technical input to foster repeat collaborations.
* Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and reports for each event, including post-event debriefs.
* Monitor and forecast budgets, ensuring events meet financial requirements, adding value, and managing post-event reconciliations and invoicing.
* Assist in contract negotiations and drafting with sales and programming teams.
* Ensure effective communication flow across all event phases.
