Mobile Electrical Engineer
At Mitie, we are looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer who will upgrade and install systems and carry out maintenance works, inspections and fault finding.
Role Responsibilities
* Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites
* Carry out installations, upgrades and minor works to meet safety standards
* Maintain compliance records and communicate effectively with clients
* Undertake routine PPM tasks, planned maintenance in line with scheduled dates along with reactive repairs and Electrical Installation work as required
* Be part of a call‑out rota after an initial period (1 week in every 5) and ensure all documentation is completed correctly for all tasks; reactive tasks are reported and recorded onto the CAFM system. May also be called upon to assist with general building maintenance activities.
What we're looking for
* A background in facilities management or mobile maintenance
* Experience of project work with a region
* Level 2 and 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
* 18th Edition
* Electrical Inspection & Testing to City & Guilds 2391
* Experience using a range of maintenance equipment and basic mechanical knowledge desirable but not essential; HV AP qualification desirable, training provided.
* Role covers Scotland on an On‑Call basis, ideal candidate located Glasgow centred but anywhere within The Central Belt acceptable.
* Additional experience in AxScada alarm wiring, alarm testing, ACBs, UPSs, Standby Generators advantageous.
