The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the MIROS environment, contributing to the company’s goal of energising 1.5GW of BESS and solar assets by 2030.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain MIROS optimisation softwareEnsure code is efficient, well-documented, and maintainablePlan and implement new features and enhancements to the codebaseTest, debug, and resolve any issues within the systemLead the design and architecture of new systemsEnsure codebase is scalable, sustainable, and productionised efficientlyStrong knowledge of the GB electricity market and relevant ancillary services for batteriesProven experience in software development, particularly in PythonExperience with technologies such as Python, SQL, Git, AWS, Azure, DjangoStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPersonal Characteristics:Ability to work effectively in a small, dynamic teamFlexible and adaptable to changes, with the ability to set the agenda when neededExcellent communication skills across multiple stakeholder levelsStrong interpersonal and negotiation abilitiesA collaborative team player who thrives in a partnership environmentQualifications & Experience:A degree in a relevant subject or equivalent industry experience
