ROLE: Wraparound Care Leader
SCHOOL: Westover Primary School
HOURS: 7.30 to 8.45 Monday to Friday Term Time Only
SALARY: 24420 to 25652 FTE (PCC Band 4)
CLOSING DATE: 12 th June 2025
START DATE: September 2025
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wraparound Care Leader to join our experienced Breakfast Club team at Westover Primary School part of Hamwic Education Trust (HET).
HET is a large fastpaced Trust with currently 37 academies across the South Coast. Linked to 6 communitybased partnerships there are 34 primary academies 2 secondary and 1 hospital school.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and caring playleader to support our wraparound care provision.

WE ARE SEEKING A PROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL:

* Have good communication skills both verbal and written
* Be caring understanding and patient and most of all fun
* Be able to problem solve in the best interest of the child
* Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
* Maintain confidentiality at all times
* Be willing to undertake training opportunities
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO:
* Keep accurate registers
* Engage children in fun activities
* Monitor and order food and resources liaising with School Business Manager
* Complete a small amount of administration
* First aid for pupils (training will be provided)
* Fulfil all safeguarding requirements
* Plan set up and clear away play sessions
* Carry out risk assessments
* Prepare light snacks and have a good understanding of hygiene (training provided)
* Be fully inclusive and willing to learn and undertake taking to meet the needs of pupils
* Liaise well with staff and parents in best interest of the child
* Adhere to all confidentiality
