Job Description:
How we make the difference in Regulatory and Risk
Our Regulatory & Risk Advisory Graduate programme is designed to give you the experience and core consulting skills you need to start your career. You'll build your commercial understanding and business acumen to deliver real value to our clients.
The work is interesting, varied, and high-profile, especially in today's complex economic climate where clients and Regulators focus more on risk and regulatory issues.
You can expect to work in areas such as:
Modelling and Model Risk Management: Model Risk involves adverse outcomes from errors in financial models. You will work with clients on model development, validation, and governance, and learn coding languages supporting climate risk and credit risk modelling.
Financial Risk and Resilience: Support clients in prudential regulation, ESG, and insurance risks, providing assurance, deal support, and strategic advice.
Wholesale: Assist wholesale clients with challenges like conduct risk, risk transformation, controls, and non-financial reporting regulation.
Retail: Focus on retail clients, addressing conduct, consumer protection, operational resilience, and CASS. Clients range from global asset managers to insurance and banking sectors.
Growth Opportunities: A three-year program to build risk management expertise across finance, with support for the FRM certification.
Teams: Work across teams advising on regulatory compliance and integrating sustainability into risk management to positively impact society and the environment.
Be curious, resilient, and agile to thrive with us.
Application Process: We value diverse perspectives and assess both qualifications and personal qualities through an open application process. Demonstrate your academic achievements, but applications are encouraged even if you are slightly short of the criteria, as contextual factors are considered.
Minimum Entry Requirements:
* GCSE Maths Grade 5 or B*
* GCSE English Language Grade 5 or B*
* 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels, excluding General Studies
* 2:1 undergraduate degree in any discipline
Training and Development: We offer comprehensive training, including an immersive induction, online courses, leadership sessions, and online mock exams. The FRM certification is part of this, supported through online and in-person courses, ensuring you can study at your own pace and apply your knowledge practically.
