Main purpose of the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fork Lift Driver to join us on a full time permanent, directly employed basis, based at our Cambridge Green site (DN34 5TA). Information about the site can be found. The Fork Lift Driver will work with the Site Manager and the rest of the site team to ensure the smooth running of the site.
Key Accountabilities
1. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and moving and stacking of materials as required by site management.
2. Carry out pre-inspection checks as required and undertake all legal safety inspections of fork lift truck.
3. Ensure at all times the safe movement of equipment and materials
4. Ensure that the site is adequately secured at all times, that safe and acceptable working conditions are maintained on site and safety and welfare facilities are maintained to a good standard
5. Operate the fork lift truck within the safety limits defined by the manufacturer.
6. Unload and load lorries and vans as necessary.
7. Undertake other site labouring duties as specified by the Site Management.
8. Assist with tidying and cleaning of site as required.
9. Constantly reinforce the Health & Safety culture, striving for an accident free site. If accidents happen, ensure that First Aid is administered (where appropriate), reported to the Construction Director and recorded on SHEQ systems.
HS&S Responsibilities

Applicants should have relevant experience in a similar role on a new build site. They will hold a valid CSCS card and the relevant FLT driving certificate.
