SEN Teaching Assistant – Southampton
Prospero Teaching are working with an excellent mixed Secondary School based in Southampton.
The School are looking to appoint an outstanding Teaching to join their dynamic and forward thinking Learning Support team. The role is full time ( hours per week) during term time only. ( Negotiable for the right candidate )
This is a highly rewarding role. The School are looking for individuals that are supportive, non-judgemental, patient, easy to talk to, positive and flexible. You must be able to speak to pupils in a manner which encourages and supports them, enabling you to build trusting relationships.
You will be supporting pupils across the age and ability ranges, both on a 1:1 and in small groups.
Previous experience of working with young people is essential and ideally with additional needs. A team player with patience, understanding and a willingness to develop is required.
