Brinsbury College, part of the Chichester College Group have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Lecturer in Maths & 14-16 at our Brinsbury College campus. You will join us on a part time, permanent basis. In return, we will offer a competitive salary pro rata of £27,785 - £43,325 per annum (i.e. £16,671 - £25,995).

22.2 hours per week, 52 weeks per year


Key Responsibilities of our Lecturer in Maths & 14-16:

* Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, including enrichemnt opportunities.
* Leading and supporting the delivery of GCSE in Maths.
* Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.
* Undertaking administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.
* Undertaking in marketing activities and promote the College in a positive way for the purpose of gaining sponsorship, advertising, good public relations and increased recruitment.
* Participating in student reviews and other relevant meetings to manage the achievement and attendance of students.


Our ideal Lecturer in Maths & 14-16 should have the following skills and experience:

* Relevant industry/subject experience
* Experience working with challenging young people
* Working knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies
* Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification
* Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlines
* To obtain an appropriate teaching qualification as defined by the Corporation
