Job Description
As a Technical Author in our UK BAT team you will draft BAT Conclusions, liaise with Technical Working Groups, and present final documents that become new UK‑wide environmental standards for industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Drafting BAT Conclusions.
* Liaising with technical working groups.
* Presenting final documents suitable for publication.
* Coordinating travel and overnight stays as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 5 years working experience in the large volume inorganic chemicals (LVIC) industry.
* Strong knowledge of UK and EU industrial environmental legislation, including IED and Environmental Permitting Regulations.
* Experience in collection and technical analysis of complex industrial data.
* Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to build and maintain relationships.
* Project management skills with ability to prioritise and organise tasks.
* Capability to work flexibly and welcome inclusive workforce policies.
