* A qualified teacher with substantial experience in secondary PE
* Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
* A proactive mindset with a strong sense of initiative
* Impeccable attention to detail in planning, assessment, and curriculum development
* A commitment to inclusive, high-quality physical education for all students
* Experience organising sports fixtures, trips, and whole-school events
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the PE department, including staff development and performance
* Design and deliver an engaging, inclusive PE curriculum
* Monitor and evaluate teaching standards and student progress
* Coordinate extracurricular sports and inter-school competitions
* Ensure health and safety compliance across all PE activities
* Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to promote whole-school wellbeing and physical literacy
