* To carry out the safe and efficient sorting of gas cylinders by the effective operation on a sort stand
* Using a 2.5 ton counter balance FLT, unloading of cylinders and banks from vehicles adding to the dedicated bays - assisting Senior Plant Operators and Facility manager on day to day yard duties,
* Some general housekeeping will be part of the role.
* The place is a COMAH site having hazards (gas, pressure, noise, cryogeny…)
* Working as part of a small team on day work in a fast moving environment.
How You Will Contribute and Grow
* Operate a FLT (Current License required), 2.5T counterbalance
* Safety-first policy - STOP for safety
* Record on documents for KPI reporting
* Operate fork lift trucks and pallet trucks safely and efficiently
* Comply with company and government regulations
* Experience in chemical/mechanical/related industries preferred
* Adopt a flexible approach to support operational needs
* Maintain a clean and tidy environment; report repair needs
* Good communication skills and teamwork
* Ability to manage own time and work clearly
* Used to working in a unionised environment
* Good health, fitness, and eyesight
* Flexible, punctual and willing to learn
* Manual handling of gas cylinders, pallets and straps
