Modern building services consultancy, BIM-led delivery and long-term progression
This opportunity is suited to an experienced BIM Coordinator looking to join a forward-thinking building services consultancy with a strong focus on digital delivery, sustainability and coordinated design. The role offers exposure to complex multi-disciplinary projects and the chance to play a key role in BIM strategy and project delivery.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a UK-based building services consultancy established in 2001, operating from multiple offices nationwide. Working as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team of Building Services Engineers, Revit Technicians, BIM specialists and Document Controllers, the BIM Coordinator will support the delivery of fully coordinated building services models across a wide range of sectors.
There is a strong emphasis on digital best practice, clash-free coordination and compliance with UK BIM standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models to ensure high-quality, clash-free design
Managing and running clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks and related tools
Supporting project teams with BIM workflows, standards and best practice
Maintaining model integrity, structure and data accuracy throughout project stages
Assisting with the implementation of BIM execution plans and project protocols
Liaising with engineers, technicians, consultants and contractors
Supporting digital coordination meetings and design workshops
Contributing to continuous improvement of BIM processes and standards
Ensuring models comply with UK BIM requirements and project-specific standardsWhat They're Looking For
Significant experience in an MEP BIM Coordinator or similar role
Strong technical knowledge of building services systems and multidisciplinary coordination
Advanced experience with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud
Proven experience in clash detection, coordination and model review
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience working to UK BIM standards, including ISO 19650
Knowledge of IFC or COBie (advantageous)What's in It for You
