This role is suited to professionals with at least five years of post-graduate experience in a planning consultancy, local authority, or residential development setting. The position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, contributing to long-term local development.Role & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and related documentationManage planning submissions and maintain accurate recordsBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersRepresent the company at Planning Committees and public consultationsMonitor and review local planning policies and updatesConduct research to support planning applications and policy analysisCoordinate with external consultants and evaluate their contributionsMaintain records of public consultations and planning decisionsCollaborate with the planning team to support project development.Required Skills & ExperienceDegree qualified in planning, urban planning, geography, or similar5+ years of industry experienceExperience liaising with local councils and contacts in the regionStrong knowledge of the planning process, regulations, and appeals processAble to liaise with the public and council in forumsMRTPI is desirable.What you get backSalary of £45,000 - £65,00021 - 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, depending on seniorityChristmas shutdown (allocation from annual leave)Office hours of 9am - 5pmOn-site parkingGroup healthcare scheme, and more.ApplyIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
