General Manager – New Opening
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced General Manager who has passion and flair for all things hospitality. As General Manager you will work with the owner to open this new dining pub which is currently undergoing a total refurbishment. Leading from the front you will get involved in the menu planning, wine list and recruitment alongside an established owner/operator taking on his fourth site.

The Place
Our client is an independent owner/operator with three other dining pubs and events business in the local area. Situated in the beautiful village of Whichford. The site is currently closed for refurbishment looking to open its doors in July. The pub with serval seasonal British menu using all fresh and local produce with a seasonally changing menu. They also have 9 letting rooms and a spacious garden.
The Person
The successful General Manager will have the following:
* Experience in a restaurant or dining pub environment at General manager level
* Must have experience in high end dining
* Ability to build and lead a team
* Confident with a true passion for hospitality
* Good wine knowledge is preferable
* Organised, passionate & driven
* Proactive in driving a business forward through marketing, networking & events
* Strong attention to detail
* The face of the business – personable & engaging, ready to build a great rapport with all guests
