Are you a passionate and experienced HLTA looking to support children with special educational needs in a mainstream primary school setting?
We are seeking a SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Farnborough, supporting pupils aged 4-11 on a 1:1 basis or in small group interventions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on making a real difference in children's educational journeys-particularly those with ASD, social-emotional needs, or anxiety-related challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs
* Support emotional regulation and build resilience in pupils
* Promote positive relationships and social skills development
* Assist in managing behaviour in a nurturing and proactive way
* Foster pupils' self-esteem, confidence, and independence
* Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCo to plan and deliver tailored interventions
* Contribute to EHCP targets and regular pupil progress reviews
