About this Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a class teacher to join our staffing team to teach, encourage and inspire our Reception class, and contribute to our warm and caring environment.
We are looking for someone who:
* Is enthusiastic, experienced, approachable and friendly.
* Is up to date with current research around Quality First Teaching and Early Years practice (Nursery and Reception).
* Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn to the best of their ability and reach their potential.
* Is knowledgeable and has the skills to meet the requirements of the EYFS Framework, including a good understanding of Early Reading.
* Has the ability to develop effective relationships with pupils, parents and external agencies in order to support pupils’ smooth transition into school.
* Is confident in leading a team, developing the vision and having the drive to move it forward.
* Able to create a stimulating and inviting learning environment adapted to suit the needs of the pupils.
* Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
