About Our Client

My client is an SME organisation operating within the Catering industry, offering special events for corporate and private clients across the UK and EU. Known for its commitment to excellence, growing operations across Central London, and capitalisation on the emergence of pop-up restaurants, my client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to provide on-site learned insights to support the senior leadership team and ensure long-term growth.

Job Description

3. Manage the preparation of accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
4. Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
5. Ensure compliance with statutory financial regulations and internal policies.
6. Coordinate payroll and manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
7. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
8. Streamline financial processes and improve efficiency within the department.
9. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
10. Line manage one direct report.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager will have:

11. Experience working within the Catering/Restaurants/Hospitality industry.
12. Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent).
13. Strong exposure of P&L Analysis.
14. Proven technical knowledge of financial accounting and reporting standards.
15. Proficiency in Xero, Excel and other accounting softwares and financial modelling tools.
16. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
17. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including with senior stakeholders.
