ICT Teacher
Location: Walsall
Start Date: September 2025
Salary:MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable ICT Teacher to join a secondary school in the Walsall area. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ digital skills, problem-solving abilities and understanding of computing and information technology.
The successful candidate will be confident in delivering the ICT curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 and will play a key role in preparing students for an increasingly digital world.
Role Responsibilites:
* Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Teach a range of ICT and computing topics including digital literacy, coding and data handling
* Support students in developing key skills for assessments and future learning
* Monitor progress and provide targeted support and feedback
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom
* Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide ICT initiatives
Role Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge in ICT and computing
* Experience teaching ICT at secondary level, including KS3 and KS4
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A passion for digital learning and a commitment to student success
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
