Workday Functional Consultant - 6 month FTC

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Deliver Workday configuration and enhancements across HCM, Time & Absence, and Payroll modules.
* Manage lower-complexity builds with minimal supervision, supporting the core Workday team.
* Analyse functional requirements, recommend improvements, and implement best-practice solutions.
* Collaborate with Tier 1 teams to resolve transaction issues and optimise existing workflows.
* Build and maintain reports, calculated fields, and dashboards to support business insight.
* Configure business processes, notifications, and security groups to align with operational needs.
* Support integrations and ensure smooth cross-functional data flow between Workday modules.
Main Skills Needed:
* Workday PRO certification in relevant functional areas.
* Strong understanding of HCM fundamentals — Business Processes, Reporting, Security, and Calculated Fields.
* Hands-on experience with Onboarding, Job Changes, Terminations, and Security Group management.
* Deep expertise in Time & Absence setup — accruals, leave configurations, eligibility, and validation rules.
* Payroll configuration and processing experience, including building Earnings, Deductions, and Account Posting Rules.
* Familiarity with integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs) and data reporting for Payroll and Accounting.
* Ability to provide functional guidance and corrective recommendations to internal teams.
