Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Grants Support Officer at the AMRC. This role involves a research support background, and a passion for helping develop high‑quality, fundable grant applications for a world‑leading research centre.
Responsibilities
* Apply research‑administration skills and pre‑award support experience to help develop high‑quality, fundable grant applications.
* Assist with the financial aspects of research grants, including costing.
* Support the creation of robust grant applications across a range of industrial sectors, including defence.
* Collaborate closely with the AMRC grants team and attend meetings at the main AMRC site, Factory 2050, and the University of Sheffield campus.
Qualifications
* Relevant experience in research support.
* Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
* Experience in costing for research grants.
* Educated to A‑Level or equivalent with strong administrative skills.
* Comfortable supporting research across multiple industrial sectors.
