We have an exciting opportunity to join us as an Assistant Data Protection Officer on a permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) basis. This role is hybrid working up to two days per week in the office. What the Assistant Data Protection Officer role entails. Under the guidance and direction of the DPO, to manage the procedures and practices to deliver compliance of the group within the requirements of relevant legislation; to ensure the effective running of systems and controls to enable the group, its trading as divisions and subsidiaries (including its managers and employees) to comply with their obligations under relevant data protection and freedom of information legislation. Skills, Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need: GCSE/Level 2 English. Ability to apply a complex regulatory framework to achieve effective compliance. Demonstrable experience of developing, implementing and maintaining detailed systems and procedures and records for ensuring and maintaining outstanding compliance practice. Ability to work as part of a wide cross group team. Ability to achieve aims through influence. Ability to give clear advice and guidance. Ability to understand complex regulatory information. Ability to think and act independently. Ability to maintain ordered records. Ability to be concise and act quickly in a time sensitive environment.
