Hybrid: 2–3 days per week in the office
The Role
* Managing renewals, mid‑term adjustments, invoices and general client enquiries
* Reviewing client documentation to ensure accuracy for the quoting process
* Gathering and communicating client requirements to support effective marketing of risks
* Preparing high‑quality market documentation and securing necessary approvals
* Maintaining accurate client records and supporting due diligence checks
* Working with underwriters to secure competitive and appropriate coverage
* Handling data entry, credit control, subjectivities and internal system updates
* Supporting senior colleagues with client work and contributing to wider team projects
* Building strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and market contacts
Experience & Knowledge
* Minimum 2 years’ experience handling SME, Commercial or Corporate insurance clients
* Working knowledge across the main classes of General Insurance
* Understanding of GDPR and industry ethical standards (CII Code of Ethics)
Skills
* Excellent client service and communication skills
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
* Confident negotiation and broking capability
* Ability to gather, analyse and interpret client information
* Comfortable adapting to different client needs and levels of understanding
* Cert CII
