Software Engineer

TheOpportunity:
We are seeking a Software Engineer to help design and implement scalable software components that power our products. While this role primarily focuses on Python-based development, exposure to data workflows (ETL, warehousing) is a plus but not required. You’ll work closely with engineering leads and product managers to deliver high-quality features and maintain system stability, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Our Stack:
Inthisrole,youwillutilizeacombinationofPython,SQL, Snowflake, DBT (for ETL processes), and some C# in yourday to day.
A Closer Look at the Role
Thisrolewillprovide opportunitiestoget yourhandson varioustasks/technologiessuch as:
1. Design, build, and maintain Python-based software components that integrate with our broader platform.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
3. Contribute to discussions on code quality, maintainability, and performance improvements.
4. Participate in sprint planning and provide input on feasibility, effort estimation, and trade-offs.
5. Implement features and fixes with scalability and flexibility in mind.
6. Assist in occasional integration with data workflows, such as ETL pipelines or warehousing tools, where applicable.
7. Identify and communicate technical risks or blockers early to support smooth delivery.
8. Engage in code reviews and knowledge sharing to support team growth.
Skills/Experience Needed:
9. Background in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands-on industry experience
10. Strong programming skills in Python; experience building production-grade applications.
11. Ability to break down complex problems and communicate technical concepts clearly.
12. Experience collaborating across teams (engineering, product, in an Agile environment.
13. Familiarity with ETL pipelines, data integration, or modern data warehousing (Snowflake, DBT) is a plus, but not required.
