About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP team. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of supplier payments and staff expenses, aligned with internal policies and strict deadlines.
The successful candidate will be a confident team leader, committed to continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and lead the Accounts Payable team, ensuring full training, development, and high performance.
* Oversee all day-to-day AP operations including invoice processing, payment runs, and supplier query resolution.
* Ensure all payments are processed within 30 days of invoice receipt.
* Conduct regular performance appraisals and one-to-one meetings with team members.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate finance processes and deadlines.
* Drive improvements in systems and processes; support implementation of new tools (e.g., P2P systems).
* Provide accurate and timely reporting on team performance and KPIs.
* Ensure all processes are fully documented and compliant with internal controls.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience managing an Accounts Payable team.
* Strong background in team development and performance management.
* Hands-on experience with P2P systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Ability to stay organised, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative approach.
