The Role: We are looking for a confident and solutions-focused Administration Manager to lead our central admin team, driving engagement, motivation and high performance across the function. This role offers the perfect platform to make a meaningful impact, embedding recent changes following a restructure, strengthening processes, and finding new ways to improve the service we provide to the business. You’ll take ownership of ensuring our processes are robust, efficient, and clearly documented, while leading a dispersed regional team who play a vital role in keeping BHP running smoothly. This role is varied, but examples of what you’ll be working on are: Leading, motivating, and developing the administration team, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance. Embedding new processes and documenting ways of working. Process mapping and identifying opportunities for efficiencies. Overseeing the rollout and optimisation of our new admin ticketing system. Working closely with partners, managers, and colleagues across the firm to ensure our service meets evolving business needs. Capacity planning to ensure workloads are balanced and achievable. The Team: The admin team works across all five BHP offices (York, Leeds, Cleckheaton, Sheffield and Chesterfield), providing essential operational support to the business. The headcount stands at 17, and is made up of administrators, receptionists, and PAs. The package: • Salary: £38,000 – £41,000 (negotiable for exceptional experience) • 27 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. • Pension contributions of 5.3% when you contribute 3.2% (Additional pension benefits when you opt in to our salary sacrifice scheme.) • Healthcare cash plan • Life cover 3 x salary • Opportunities for career development and professional growth To thrive in this role, you’ll need: • Extensive line management experience and a track record of driving engagement, motivation, and performance. • Experience embedding process change and identifying efficiencies. • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to document and map processes. • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels. • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. • A full UK driving licence and access to your own car for travel to other offices. Whilst not essential, it would be great if you have: • Accountancy or professional services sector experience • Change management experience • Experience of managing a dispersed team or working regionally We don’t expect you to tick every box.
