Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for structural steel projects.
* Oversee cost control, procurement, and contract administration throughout all project stages.
* Conduct risk assessments, identify cost efficiencies, and support commercial decision-making.
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure delivery aligns with financial objectives.
* Manage subcontractor accounts, variations, and final settlements.
* Maintain accurate records and reports to support financial forecasting and accountability.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the structural steel or architectural metalwork sector.
* Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract law.
* Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
* Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost management software.
