Role - Mechanical Technician
Type - Permanent
Location - Southwest London
Salary - £33,000 - £37,500, dependent on experience
My client designs and manufactures engineering equipment. They are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join their team in Southwest London on a permanent basis.
The Mechanical Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
* Experienced working in a factory or workshop environment
* Strong experience with Manual Milling, Turning, Welding and Fabrication
* Mechanical Assembly and Manufacturing skills
* Able to read and work to Engineering Drawings
* Knowledge of MIG / TIG Welding
* Experienced using centre-lathes, turret mills, pillar drills etc.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Team player
Responsibilities
* Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment
* Working with Milling and Turning Machinery
* Working to project specifications and deadlines
* Participating in technical training
* Working to procedures and instructions
* Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
