Job Title: Qualified SENCO
Location: Sheffield (S9)
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

A supportive network of schools in Sheffield (S9) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Qualified SENCO to lead and support SEND provision, ensuring high-quality outcomes for pupils with additional needs.

They place a high priority on effective SEND coordination, collaboration between staff, and personalised approaches that promote both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

About the Role:
As a Qualified SENCO, you will take responsibility for coordinating SEND provision across the school, ensuring that all pupils with additional needs receive appropriate support. You will work closely with teaching staff, support teams and external agencies to develop and implement effective strategies that improve outcomes for learners.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee and coordinate SEND provision across the school

* Lead on the development and review of EHCPs and support plans

* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents and external agencies

* Monitor and track progress of pupils with additional needs

* Provide guidance and support to staff on inclusive practice

* Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and school policies

* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential

* National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or equivalent

* Experience working as a SENCO or in a SEND leadership role

* Strong understanding of SEND legislation and best practice

* Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills

* A committed and inclusive approach to supporting learners

This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified SENCO in Sheffield (S9) to take on a key leadership role and make a meaningful impact within inclusive school settings.

* Have the right to work in the UK

* Hold an up-to-date CV with two references from the last 2 years
