1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role
This fulfilling position involves providing 1:1 support to a Year 3 student with Down syndrome. The student is energetic, curious, and friendly but requires tailored support to thrive in the classroom.
Key responsibilities include:
• Adapting lesson materials to suit the student’s developmental level.
• Encouraging positive engagement and focus during activities.
• Managing occasional challenging behaviors, including offensive language, with patience and professionalism.
• Promoting safe interactions and guiding the student through daily routines.
This role is ideal for someone with experience working with children with Down syndrome or SEN, alongside a calm and understanding demeanor.
