Our client, one of the UK's leading automotive tyre and fast-fit centre groups, is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join their busy Trowbridge centre. Starting salary from £33,000 per annum, subject to experience
Performance-related bonuses, with an on-target earnings of approximately £39,000 (£400 per month)

41.5-hour working week, with potential for flexible schedulingDuties of the MOT Tester:
Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Government standards, ensuring vehicle safety and compliance
Support customers through the MOT process by providing updates, explaining reasons for failures, and advising on necessary repairs
Diagnose and carry out associated service and repair work where applicable
Maintain comprehensive records of tests and repairs as an MOT Tester
Support workshop team with general repair and maintenance tasks to ensure smooth workshop operations
Liaise effectively with team members to ensure an efficient workflow and exceptional customer service
Ensure the workshop maintains high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organisation as an MOT TesterRequirements:
Hold an active Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence
Possess a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Ideally qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; individuals with substantial vehicle mechanic experience and an active MOT licence will also be considered
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong organisational skills and a commitment to high-quality work
