What will you work on?
This position is part of a multi-disciplinary Mental Health and Addictions Team providing comprehensive services within a psycho-social rehabilitation framework to adults with serious and persistent mental illness and/or within a harm reduction framework for those with substance use problems/disorders who face severe challenges in daily living. The role involves offering rehabilitative and treatment services, including outreach, community, and facility care.
Typical duties include providing direct care such as supportive counseling, risk assessment, and crisis intervention for individuals or groups experiencing severe challenges due to mental illness and/or substance use. You will participate in developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans via outreach methods for assigned clients, along with team clinical reviews, psychiatric reviews, and client monitoring.
Scheduling Information:
Shifts include days, evenings, and nights, from 07:00 to 16:00, 11:00 to 21:00, and 21:00 to 07:00 hours. This is a casual position, meaning there are no guaranteed hours, and work requirements can vary from 0 to 37.5 hours per week.
