Academics, a leading national education recruitment agency, is recruiting a full-time Learning Support Assistant role based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming primary school supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
As a Learning Support Assistant in Coventry, you will provide essential 1:1 and group support tailored to the individual needs of children with SEN. You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to help deliver personalised learning programmes and support EHCP targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted support for children with SEN in the classroom
* Adapt resources and learning activities to support individual progress
* Assist in promoting positive behaviour and independence
* Collaborate with staff to maintain an inclusive and safe learning environment
Candidate Requirements:
* Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (essential)
* Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting
* Strong understanding of SEN strategies and approaches
* Commitment to supporting children's development and wellbeing
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Based in or able to commute to Coventry
* Available full-time from September
