Position: Indirect Procurement Category Manager – 12 month FTC

UK (Bolton, Bristol, Surrey, or Birmingham) – Hybrid (3 days in office)

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will develop and execute strategic procurement activities across indirect spend categories, supporting key projects during a critical growth phase.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement procurement strategies in collaboration with the Head of Procurement.
2. Support daily procurement operations and initiatives.
3. Develop category plans aligned with business goals.
4. Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring via KPIs and SLAs.
5. Build strong internal and external partnerships for seamless delivery.
Requirements:
1. Experience managing indirect procurement categories such as HR, Legal, Finance, Insurance, Travel, Facilities Management, or similar.
2. Knowledge of category management principles and best practices.
3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
4. Sector experience is a plus but not mandatory.
