We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starter, passionate professional with a proven flair to establish and drive new business opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our business across multiple sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and nurturing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and creating strategic partnerships to elevate the company's market presence.

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in setting the direction of growth strategies and collaborating with leadership to shape the organization’s future.


What you'll do:

1. Lead Business Development Efforts: Secure new business opportunities, focusing on strategic growth within key markets and sectors. Drive revenue by identifying high-potential leads, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts while achieving or exceeding sales targets.
2. Prospecting and Qualification: Identify and reach out to potential customers, define your ideal customer profile, and conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand their needs, challenges, and pain points, qualifying requirements early in engagement.
3. Relationship Management: Build long-lasting relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and trust. Manage key partner relationships, introducing partners to customers at appropriate times.
4. Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts aligned with client needs and company goals. Negotiate terms at all levels to achieve favorable outcomes for both parties.
5. Strategic Partnerships and Networking: Cultivate external partnerships and industry relationships to enhance business reach and market position. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and build relationships.
6. Accountability and Reporting: Provide regular updates on activities, sales forecasts, and strategic insights. Manage opportunities through CRM, ensuring accurate and timely updates to stakeholders.


What you'll bring:

* Proven experience in delivering new business telecoms sales/deals into midsized to large national businesses.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to optimize revenue KPIs.
* Experience in a complex, customer-focused organization, ideally in a build-and-grow environment.
* Resilience and adaptability in a rapidly changing business environment.
* A relentless focus on achieving sales results despite obstacles.

How you'll work:

We offer a hybrid working model combining office collaboration and remote work, with details provided during recruitment.


Your office base:

This role is field-based, involving travel across the UK, including visits to Sky offices and our head office in Isleworth.
