About the Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and technical support of NOV Wireline and Flowline equipment both at our Kintore facility and at customer locations worldwide.
This is a hands-on role combining workshop-based activities with field service assignments, including offshore and international travel. You will work on pressure control equipment, control modules, and wireline systems, playing a key role in ensuring reliability, safety, and performance of critical equipment used in global operations.

Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
10. Service, maintain, and test NOV pressure control equipment and control modules
11. Perform pressure testing up to 22.5k PSI in line with safety and quality standards
12. Assemble, disassemble, and prepare components within a manufacturing/workshop environment
13. Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation to ensure accurate execution of work
14. Provide technical support both remotely and on-site at customer locations
15. Carry out field service activities globally, including offshore interventions
16. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using structured problem-solving techniques
17. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with HSE policies and company procedures
Additional Responsibilities:
18. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements
19. Collaborate with internal teams to support operational and customer requirements
20. Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications:
21. Time-served apprenticeship or HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
22. Proven experience in maintaining and servicing pressure control equipment and control modules
23. Experience with high-pressure testing (up to 22.5k PSI)
24. Strong background in assembly and manufacturing environments
25. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
26. Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook)
27. Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally, including offshore assignments
Desired Qualifications:
28. Experience with wireline winches and masts
29. NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) experience
30. Valid offshore certifications
31. Higher education in a relevant engineering discipline

33. Ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team
34. Adaptability to changing environments, including field and offshore conditions
35. Clear and effective communication skills in technical contexts
