Electron Beam (EB) Welding TechnicianLocation: WrexhamMonThu 08:0016:45 | Fri 08:0014:00Pay: £27300PermanentRole OverviewWe are seeking an Electron Beam (EB) Welding Technician to produce high-quality precision welds using advanced EB welding equipment. You will work to engineering drawings and strict quality standards, supporting the manufacture of high-value components in a controlled environment.Key Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and monitor EB welding machines (high/low vacuum)
* Prepare and align components; select and adjust welding parameters
* Perform welds in line with SOPs, drawings, and quality requirements
* Complete production and quality documentation accurately
* Inspect weld quality and report any defects or deviations
* Carry out routine machine maintenance and follow all safety procedures
Skills & ExperienceEssential:
* Experience in precision welding (EB, laser, or similar)
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
* Comfortable working to SOPs with full traceability
Desirable:
* EB welding certification or formal training
* Experience with automated welding systems
