An exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join a Public Sector Union, working on leased Commercial Projects across the south of the country within a supportive business that offers chartership support, a generous salary, and excellent benefits.

The Union represents members employed in public service and utility companies, owning over 32 commercial properties primarily office spaces. With a growing portfolio and over 500 employees, they are expanding their team.
Responsibilities
* Conducting planned and preventative maintenance of regional offices
* Performing regular inspections of premises
* Preparing annual property budgets
* Surveying properties mainly in the South of England, with occasional nationwide surveys
* Overseeing stock condition surveys and pre-planned maintenance schemes
* Liaising with agents and suppliers on maintenance and safety issues
* Providing support and advice regarding building issues to leadership
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in building or property surveying
* Background in commercial properties
* Experience with stock condition and maintenance schemes
* Excellent communication skills
