Purpose of the Job
To support and keep me safe when I am out in the community.
Hours of Work & Pay
12 hours a week (ideally 3 days a week, afternoon after 1pm). Rate: £14.45 per hour.
Tasks
* Going out to cinema.
* Possibly going to the gym.
* Taking me to hospital appointments.
* Attending an art class with me.
* Keeping me safe at all times when out in the community.
Type of Person Required
* Outgoing and chatty personality.
* Someone who can drive with business class insurance.
* Someone who is experienced with epilepsy.
About the Job
Requires a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period of six months will be necessary initially. The wage will be paid four‑weekly on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living. You will receive appropriate holidays and holiday pay. This post is subject to an enhanced police check (DBS) and training may be required if identified by the employer.
