Aspire are working with a lovely SEN school in the Kidderminster area who are looking for a dedicated and passionate teacher to join their supportive team. The school has great facilities and amazing growth opportunities.
The school is looking for people who can work on a either a part time OR full-time basis. The students that you will be primarily supporting are students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), SEMH, Trauma, complex needs and sensory impairment.
The school wants highly skilled, well qualified and experienced staff, who have strong backgrounds in supporting special educational needs. They are looking for people who are committed to the development of emotional well-being, social communication, social interaction, and independence skills is central to the school's ethos.
The successful candidates will:
* Have experience working with children with SEN on 1:1 basis or in classes.
* Preferred training or experience in Makaton, PECS, or be Team Teach trained.
* Be passionate about working with SEN children.
* Be flexible, proactive and patient.
* Be able to communicate effectively within a team.
* Be committed to work full-time.
* MUST Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Must live in the UK
