Thames Water is recruiting a passionate Electrical Project Engineer to help shape the future of water and wastewater treatment in London and its surrounding areas. Join us in AMP8 to modernise Treatment Works, deliver essential services, and protect the environment for future generations.
What you’ll be doing as an Electrical Project Engineer
* Assessing Project Briefs and technical information to support risk mitigation and maximize value before pricing by the delivery contractor.
* Working within multi-disciplinary project teams following project delivery procedures.
* Delivering project outputs on time, within budget, and to quality standards through planning and resource forecasting.
* Developing capability and ensuring continuous improvement.
This role is hybrid with a base location at Hampton Coal Wharf, requiring presence in the office or on-site 2-3 days a week. While driving is preferred, applications are welcome regardless of driving status.
The role is ideally full-time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
What you should bring to the role of Electrical Engineer
* Degree or HNC in electrical engineering.
* Understanding of developing technical project solutions, especially related to electrical scope.
* Knowledge of project delivery in process industries.
* Strong understanding of health & safety, particularly CDM regulations.
* Knowledge of electrical processes and equipment, including LV and HV installations in water industry contexts.
What’s in it for you?
* Salary between £40,000 and £60,000 per annum, based on experience.
* 26 days holiday, increasing to 30 with service, plus bank holidays.
