We are seeking a dedicated Operator to operate our clients' automated manufacturing system. This role is ideal for someone who is technically and mechanically inclined, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to learn and grow within their role.
Day-to-day of the role:
Operate the automated manufacturing system efficiently.
Engage in manual lifting and navigate multiple platforms on site through climbing steps.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed reports to engineers as needed.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols while operating machinery.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must possess a current or expired FLT (Forklift Truck) license.
Proven background in manufacturing.
Computer literacy is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to engineers and team members.
Physically capable of manual lifting and moving to different platforms on site.
Benefits:
Competitive salary of circa £35,000 per year.
Structured work hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, and an early finish on Friday at 2 PM.
